Introduction This chapter explores the implications of cross-cultural issues, broadly defined, to the implementation and use of electronic communications technology in organizations. It discusses various perspectives on culture and diversity, critiques several models of electronic group communication and support systems, and offers a model to consider the implications of cultural diversity for electronic group communication.
